Grassroots Community Organizing Projects

Few things make me feel more alive and more connected to others than working with you as you band together with others for justice. Whether you or your family need affordable, accessible or non-discriminatory housing, or you "merely" connect to the moral nature of inclusive and diverse communities as a neighbor, elected official or other community leader, each and every one of you feels passionately for the rights of others and you are willing to work in concert. The following is a sampling of ways in which I organized residents in the diverse northern suburbs of Chicago while leading Open Communities.
